I’m going to try to keep up with my Project Thanks goal for the year by linking up with the Mom Creative every Tuesday!!!
Since this is the first time I’m really doing Project Life and I’m putting my own spin of counting my gifts in it (a la Ann Voskamp style) I really want to keep up with this project!!
Hope in her post yesterday mentioned missing the little things that make her happy- I’m hoping that this little thing of scrapbooking will help me to see the gift in each day and give me a creative outlet!!!
This is my title page. Just a simple pic of the boys and some of the premade cards from Becky Higgins. I added our little difference to the project by adding some of Ann’s quotes and telling how I’ll be counting gifts in addition to telling our day to day story.
I have some journaling squares still left on this page to fill in (which I’m hoping to do today). I also added a quote from the One Thousand Gifts app (button for app is in my sidebar). My favorite picture on this page is the launch page for Must Love God which has been a project on my heart for years and I’m so excited to see it real!!!
This is the 2nd page for this week. The gifts are all listed out but I have some room for some more pictures that I’m gonna try to print today. I used a different page from Becky Higgins so I could use the vertical picture of Cole that Jason texted me. There is also a screen shot of the Bible App Jason and I are using this year for our reading.
I used one of the foldable cards to tell the story on The Seed Company that I’m partnering with as a One Verse Blogger for the Vidunda People. You can learn more about that as well on my sidebar.
I feel such accomplishment- even though its not totally finished I can see how the process will work and what I need to do differently throughout the week to make monday night/tuesday morning easier for me!! I’m also going to play more with instagram and some other phone apps to get photos off of my iPhone.
As I said, I’m linking up with The Mom Creative hoping for support and accountability!!!
If you haven’t seen Project Life you should check out Becky Higgins site for more details. I’m not getting any sort of kickback, I’m just so excited that I figured out a way to scrap again without adding stress, and while counting one thousand gifts.
Are you counting gifts or doing project life? I’d love to follow your blog back!! Leave me a comment!!

Oh, I love this! Need to get started with printing my pictures!
Yes! Get a system!! I decided to link with Jessica at Mom Creative to hopefully stay up on it!!
Oh I absolutely LOVE that you are making your album part of your counting the gifts…a complete album of thankfulness with pictures!! You have my brain running this morning…I would love to do this!! Thanks for the inspiration!!
Love that you are making Project Life apart of counting your gifts. I was struggling with out best to document the counting my gifts and that’s a wonderful idea. Thanks for it! Might need to find a way to incorporate in at least some of the gifts (via pictures or text).
I had been struggling too.,..notebook, app, blog… I figured if I document daily life I’ll be documenting the gifts
Combining Project Life and 1000 gifts…wonderful! I started 1000 gifts last year and had computer problems that forced me to be computer free for a few months. I documented in my journal, but never got back to blogging them. Your layouts look great! I’m excited to start Project Life and to stay accountable as well with the help of the Mom Creative community!
I love that you are including your 1000 gifts with your Project Life! What a treasure this is going to be to you and your family!!
Hey there! I’m doing PL for the second year .. this year I have Clementine
I did the Turquoise edition last year and never thought of using the ABCD cards side to side … I used them up and down time and time again haha! Funny right?!
Good luck this year, you won’t be sorry you did it!
Like how you have used the different page protectors, I seem to take nearly all of my pics in ‘landscape’ since doing PL last year.
I love how you are including your gifts. What a great idea. Your layouts look great and good luck with your first year of Project Life! You will LOVE it:)
I have been wanting to do Week in the Life but have been afraid that it will be more than I can handle. I am only able to keep up with Project Life because it is so simple. I am afraid that I will fall behind if I have too many things going on. The Joy Dare is amazing!
Nice!!!
This is so great!!
LOVE how you included quotes from the app!
Thanks so much for sharing this!
Thx for stopping by! I’m hoping to keep posting on Tuesday’s for accountability. I’ll try to explain more of how I’m organizing it! Come back and vidit’n
