Does anyone know actually where January went? I feel like I’ve got a good thing started with these three goals. So is it cheating if I keep them?
1. project thanks
I want to continue this goal until it becomes second nature and habit to me. I still have to be deliberate and count gifts. (and take pictures). I love working on the project as long as I have everything together (so I continue to tweak that process. In addition, I’m finding I want to scrapbook more, so hopefully this will become a normal part of my life.
2. be intentional
I know I need to be more specific with this goal. Maybe you can help me? How do you plan out your days? I think I struggle between being overscheduled and underscheduled. Trying to of course, find balance…..between blogging, my full time job, my desire to write and be creative (see #1), and family time. So here is some specific mini goals for this month:
-work with Max on writing his name (he’s really interested in superhero’s so I’m looking for some tot packs and resources from my favorite homeschool/kid ministry blogs). Jake is also a sponge right now (monkey see monkey do) so I’d love to have some intentional table time for them to play/learn/color/sing. Specifically I am looking at:
for family time.
-I’m also working through some various worksheets I’ve found online (and will hopefully share soon) for some personal goals and ideas.
-continue tweaking am routine and household chores
-specific exercise and meal planning time (which leads to #3)
3. honor God with my body and mind
I’m going to keep with this mantra/manifesto for February and see if I can gain anymore ground in this area. I mentioned in my post yesterday that I’ve been struggling (maybe overwhelmed is a better word) but with the help of my sisterfriends I’m thinking this will be a better month. So here is my focus:
-eat clean (starting to get the hang of it and not focus on what it means)
-move more (no matter what I have to move more- hold me to it!!)
-refresh daily (I’m continuing #Run2Him & reading Jesus Calling and as I mentioned yesterday I’m memorizing the mount)
I think that’s all. I’m so thankful for #3in30 to help me stay on track with these goals (and even set goals at all). In this complicated process I’m really hoping to simplify and focus on what matters most!!!
I’m linking up to:
So tell me…do you have a weekly/daily routine? How do you set it up and figure it out…or more importantly- stick to it?
I’d love to hear what your goals are too!!!
