I spoke too soon last week when I mentioned how great I was feeling. I have been living life well, however, I have not been sleeping well.

I had taken a lot of pride in all that was going well…my eating, my exercise, taking thoughts captive…but I wasn’t taking care of my basic needs.
Since I work night shift 3 days a week, my schedule is all over the place and sleep really often slips through my fingers. And when this momma doesn’t sleep…well, lets just say it’s not pretty.
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28
I am reminded of this verse as I lay myself to bed…at a decent time!! I’m realizing how much a bedtime routine can affect a hellomornings routine if you’re not careful!!
So this week, we focus on bedtime and morning time. I’m focusing on rest…resting in Him and having Him fill me up!!
I’m linking this post up with:

and refocusing on being #magnificent for the rest of this month!!!

Ahhh. Me too. Sleep is such a huge piece of the puzzle! Hope you sleep well tomorrow and have a great weekend!
I just cannot seem to get to bed before 12:30 or 1:00a.m. I normally get up around 6:30a.m (but also wake in the night a couple of times). I know my sleep deprived state is not helping my health at all.
