I think I claimed to be “flirting with paleo” so I had an out if it all didn’t work out.
Thing is, I’ve tried it, I liked it….a lot.
Then I swayed. I cheated. I had some things that I know are trigger foods for me to create an upset tummy. And the upset tummy came.
This week, I’ve caught a cold (or horrible allergies…jury is still out). Either way- I feel like I’m back to reacting to my body rather than being proactive.
So I’m gonna try strict paelo again. I mean, I know it works. I. Felt. Better. You can’t argue with that.
I’m hoping to get back into some great meal planning. I’ve been pinning recipes on my Paleo Board and my Primal Board on pinterest. I’m going to go back through my lovely ebooks and cookbooks I have purchased and come up with a plan.
I’ve tasted the food the works for my body and I know this is how the Lord intends for it for me!! Now to believe in the refuge I can have in Him.
Do you have any favorite paleo recipes? I’d love to hear them. Or please share your sites with me!!! I’m very excited to check out this from Once a Month Mom:

Thanks for the link! I hope you enjoy the mini menu!
A. That Once a Month Paleo looks AWESOME! I am excited to give it a shot. B. My favorite, family approved, recipes have been from Eat Like a Dinosaur: Shakey Pork Barbecue, Pineapple Curry and Banana Chocolate Chip Bread (muffins). Those muffins are fantastic, but a bit expensive because they use almost a full jar of almond butter. From Everyday Paleo: Kids Love Cabbage Slaw, Marvelous Meatballs, Everyday Meatloaf and Red Curry Beef Stew. C. I am so with you on the Paleo train! I KNOW I feel better when I do it, but it is too easy to cheat. I cheat and then I feel awful.
We’ll get there, though! We just have to keep at it! I am planning to convert my family when we get back from vacation in Mid June. Enjoy the cookies while you can, kids!
Thanks Rebecca! I have both those cookbooks- i’ll check for those recipes! I’m hoping to get back into meal planning- I know it helped me out!! Yes- let’s have a paleo summer!!!
