It’s amazing to me how easy it is to sway off of an eating and exercise plan when you lose your hyperfocus. (wordpress says that’s not a word, but I say it its)
Over the weekend, I really struggled, again. At work I just have trouble sticking to my plan. In fact, sometimes I’m not even sure what my plan is!!!
But starting Tuesday this week (I know, it’s only 2 days), I’ve gotten back on track. I’m finding that my eating style could best be described as Clean Paleo (I’m not stressing about added sugars or preservatives like I did in whole 30, but still trying to eat whole, real foods). My exercise has come in little bursts, mini WODs. Honestly, I wish I had more time to devote an hour to a workout, and maybe when my boys are old enough, we’ll be able to run and WOD together, but for now these 7-10 minute WODs are creating a burn that I didn’t even imagine.
I’ve created a new pinboard for my WODs (workouts of the day). Many of these I’m adapting from websites, and I’m trying to give credit where the credit is due.
